Privacy policy
How we handle your data.
Short version: we only use what you send us to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run the project. No newsletters, no selling, no advertising trackers.
Who we are
Haki Team (VAT IT13416130014), based in Turin, Italy, is the data controller for this website. For anything about your data, write to ciao@hakiteam.it.
What we collect
Only what you send us: through the form on the Start a project page (your email, what you're building, what you need, your deadline and any link you share) or by writing to us directly. Our hosting provider also processes standard technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. We only see anonymous, aggregated visit statistics.
Why we use it
To reply to your request and prepare a proposal, a step you ask us to take before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Technical data is used to keep the site secure and working, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Your email is needed to reply: without it we can't get back to you.
Who handles it
Your data stays with us and with the providers that help us run Haki Team: Framer B.V. (website hosting and forms), Google (email and the spreadsheet where requests are stored) and our email hosting provider. Some of them may process data outside the EU, always with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Requests that don't turn into a project are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, project and billing records are kept for as long as Italian law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it, by writing to ciao@hakiteam.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
We don't use advertising or profiling cookies. Visit statistics are anonymous and aggregated. Last updated: October 2026.
